Fan Mail!

African Bank's newly released comic, Antony and the Race Day Challenge, has been receiving lots of fan mail from kids across South Africa. Here is a drawing done by 11 year old fan, Wilson.

African Bank: Teaching kids how to manage money wisely

Strika Communications and African Bank have joined forces to produce a comic aimed at educating kids about the importance of personal finance and how to manage money wisely!

This month saw the launch of the first issue of Antony and the Race Day Challenge, with over 500 000 free copies being distributed throughout South Africa. This 16-page comic, developed by Strika Entertainment, illustrates Africa Bank’s ongoing commitment to improving financial literacy in South Africa.

Antony and the Race Day Challenge is designed specifically for kids to help them acquire important financial management life-skills essential for preparing them for the financial responsibilities of young adulthood!

The financial messages are interwoven with a highly entertaining character set and story line, and presented in a universal medium that all children instantly relate to…comics!

Antony and the Race Day Challenge is available to the general public, both young and old, at all African Bank branches.
