One Night in Jozi

The Achiever: Strikaland competition winners jetted into Johannesburg to see Brazil take on the USA… North America versus South. The FIFA Confederations Cup Final was the biggest soccer event ever hosted in Africa… and we weren’t gonna miss it.

As the sun set over the City of Gold we put on our team colours.
Some for the USA…

Some for Brazil…

And after a bus ride through downtown Jozi, it was game time!

Incredible goals, awesome spirit in the stadium, a nail-biting 3-2 result… we couldn’t have asked for a better game.

We shouted. We cheered. We braved the cold…

… which just got colder and colder…

… and colder.

And when the final whistle blew and midnight struck, we turned the drive-thru into a walk-thru…

…and did DIY room service.

Next morning found us back on the plane with the sound of vuvuzelas still ringing in our ears.
And as the Confed Cup champs move onto their next adventure, we’re moving onto ours…
