Strika Goes To the Namibian Newspaper Cup

Recently Bonisa Bonani, Chris Fatman and Aadil Mayet represented Strika at the Namibian Newspaper Cup. This is what Aadil had to say about their trip…

The Namibian Cup 2010 was bigger and better than ever before! It was a great experience, and we’re grateful for being given the opportunity to represent Strika there.

It was really fun to work with kids, and see just how much the Namibian people love Supa Strikas. The hospitality was incredible.

Our tent was a hive of activity! Throughout the four days of the tournament, hundreds of children took part in various activities such as being shown how to draw the Supa Strikas characters by our talented artists, freestyle soccer, and partaking in a mini 4 a-side soccer tournament.

All the Strika guys handled an activity, ensuring a well organised and very successful tournament. The category winners won really cool prizes, including soccer balls, vuvuzelas, and caps autographed by the Strika team.

We’d like to thank the Namibian team for all their help and efforts in assisting us to bring a smile to every child’s face that came through the Strika tent!

CT staffers – go ahead and check out the event covered in the Youth Paper, as well as extra photos:
